How to Download Instagram Reels

Reels move fast. The algorithm shows you something brilliant once, and tomorrow it's gone from your feed forever. Instagram's own "Download" option only appears on some Reels (the creator must allow it), stamps a watermark on the file, and often reduces the quality. iGram's Reels downloader has none of those limits — any public Reel, original file, no watermark.

Downloading a Reel in three steps

1. Copy the Reel link. Open the Reel, tap the Share (paper plane) icon, then Copy Link. Reel links look like instagram.com/reel/ABC123xyz/.

Reels with music: what actually downloads

When a creator records original audio, that audio lives inside the video file and downloads perfectly. When a Reel uses a licensed music track added in the Instagram editor, Instagram sometimes serves the video with the mixed track and sometimes strips it depending on region and licensing. If your saved Reel is silent, that's the reason — try a Reel with original audio and you'll see the difference.

Where the file lands
