How to Download Instagram Videos on PC & Mac

Desktop is where Instagram downloading gets genuinely fast: copy a link with Ctrl+C, paste with Ctrl+V, and files stack neatly in your Downloads folder at full speed on your home connection. Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebook — the flow is identical because everything happens in the browser.

Getting the link on desktop Instagram

On instagram.com, open the post and either:

• click the three-dot menu at the post's top-right → Copy link, or
• simply copy the URL from the address bar — post pages have clean URLs like instagram.com/reel/ABC123xyz/.

Downloading with iGram

1. Open igramworlds.com in a new tab (any browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, Opera).
2. Click the box, press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac), hit Enter.
3. Click Download Video (HD MP4) or Download Photo (Full Size). The file drops into your Downloads folder; carousels show the full grid with per-item buttons.

Platform notes

Windows

Files go to C:\Users\you\Downloads. Edge and Chrome both show download progress in the toolbar; click "Open file" when done. Windows Defender scans downloads automatically — MP4/JPG files are data, not executables, so they're inherently low-risk (more in Is iGram Safe?).

macOS

Safari stacks downloads in the Dock's Downloads folder with a satisfying bounce. If Safari asks "Do you want to allow downloads on igramworlds.com?", click Allow once and it remembers.

Chromebook / Linux

Identical browser flow. On Chromebooks the Files app's Downloads section holds everything; on Linux it's ~/Downloads. No dependencies, no packages — the browser does all the work.
