Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about downloading Instagram content with iGram Worlds.

Using iGram

How do I download an Instagram video?
Copy the link from Instagram (Share → Copy Link), paste it into the box on the iGram homepage, press Download and choose the HD MP4 button. Full walkthrough: How to Download Instagram Videos.
Which link formats does iGram accept?
Any public post, Reel or video link: instagram.com/p/…, instagram.com/reel/…, instagram.com/tv/… and share links. Links from the app's Share → Copy Link menu always work.
Do I need to install an app?
No. iGram World is entirely web-based. It works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Samsung Internet — any modern browser on any device.
Is there a download limit?
No. iGram is free and unlimited. If you hit an error during heavy use, wait a minute and try again — Instagram occasionally rate-limits requests.

Quality & formats

What quality do I get?
The original uploaded quality — iGram never re-encodes. Videos are typically 720p–1080p MP4; photos come in full resolution JPG. See Saving Instagram Videos in HD.
Does iGram add a watermark?
Never. The file you download is exactly what the creator uploaded, untouched.
Can I download all items in a carousel?
Yes — paste the post link and every photo/video in the carousel appears with its own Save button. Guide: Download Carousel Posts.

Privacy & legality

Does iGram need my Instagram login?
No, never. iGram only reads public post data. Any downloader that asks for your password is a red flag — read Is iGram Safe?.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Private content is only visible to approved followers, and iGram does not (and will not) bypass that. See Why No-Login Downloaders Are Safer.
Can I download Stories?
Stories require a logged-in session, so they're not supported. Posts, Reels, videos, photos and carousels all work. More: How to Save Instagram Stories.
Is downloading Instagram content legal?
Personal offline use of public content is generally fine; republishing without permission is not. Plain-English breakdown: Is It Legal?.

Troubleshooting

iGram says it can't fetch my link — why?
Three usual causes: the post is private, the post was deleted, or Instagram is temporarily rate-limiting. Double-check the link opens in an incognito window, then try again in a minute.
Where did my file go?
Android/desktop: your Downloads folder. iPhone: the Files app (tap the download arrow in Safari). Guides: iPhone · Android · PC.
The video plays instead of downloading.
Use the download buttons iGram shows (they force a real download). If you long-press a preview instead, some browsers open the file rather than saving it.
